Good day all,
I recently started using an ASI1600MM-cool cmos camera and have some issues during image acquisition in SGP.
The camera seems to hang up every second frame, only 1 out 2 frames is saved succesfully to my pc. The sequence runs fine, but when it is time to save the image I get the following error message:
![]()
I am running the camera in Unity gain setting, and have the usb limit set to minimum. My system is a 64-bit laptop running Windows 8, with 6GB of ram. It is a USB2.0 system. I am not using a USB hub. SGP version: 2.6.0.12, I installed the latest ASI ascom drivers downloaded from the asi website.
It seems like the system is not able to download the frame in time and chokes on them. I have tried using another USB cable and tried all available usb ports but the problem persists.I have attached the log file. The issue occurs at 22:03:33 and 22:14:26. Weird thing is the frame between these 2 errors was saved succesfully. The error seems to show some memory problem? There is still plenty of HD space available and 6 GB of RAM should be sufficient to run this camera in SGP?
Anyone have an idea what is going on here?
Thank you,
