I'm sorry for being needy at the moment, but everything seems to be having a mind of its own!
I've been experiencing problems at meridian flip where it fails at the stage where the guider gets involved in reporting. I thought it was a faulty guider and so I got a new one and new cables...... tonight its done the same. Looks like the original guider is not the fault, but to my eye the log suggests a lack of communication between PHD and SGP in my case.
This only happens at flip as far as I can tell........ although there's a possibility it's at target change to. I'd need to confirm that.
The log is linked to. It all starts to go wrong at 23:11 where the guider says that it hasn't it didn't make any report that it was trying to settle. also PHD screen is showing the guider locked on a star.
