Great program btw. After tweaking a bit, I think that the focusing algorithm works as good as focusmax, with my 300mm f/4 Newt with a 33% obstruction. I think the linear fit could be improved by two options, One would be to be able to have averages of several images at each focuser position, another would be to have an option that if the warning arises that the HFR of the focused image is not within the expected range then the focusing algorithm should be rerun (this latter, I think is the most important (and I imagine that it should be quite simple to add).
I experimenting with focus lock on an OAG, have not made it work yet, but am still trying.
