"Decrement event count?" not visible in newly acquired frames

I wonder why SGP doesn't display the "Decrement the event captured count" checkbox in the dialog when I mark a newly acquired image as bad? If I use the arrow buttons to go to a previous image and then return to the latest image the checkbox will appear in the dialog.
