There is the equipment profile manager. And every setting which i have changed had no change in the sequences!
But i thought if i change the default profile these settings muste be taken ....no no chance..ok restart of the programm. then SGP will load all the settings..no. no chance..the old stupid settings were somehow loaded....For this "bug" i have to examples....
Guiding example
For guiding i use phd2 - and i had problems with the connection.. SGP stucks at " resuming autoguiding".
I have changed some settings and i selected a phd profile - which i had forgotten to select before.
I have saved the whole stuff in my equipment profile.Now i have loaded an old sequence.... and nothing has changed.... SGP still stucked in the beginning of the guiding...
OK - then i have created a new sequence and with this sequence everything was working fine...After that i have loaded again the old sequence - and again: i had problems with the start of PHD 2
For me it seems that the old equipment profile settings (which are incorrect) will be loaded from the sequence file and will be used! But how can i change that?
Plate solving example with filter wheel
Plate solving was working fine. then i created a sequence with an h-alpha filter. Ok the wheel changed.
But the next time of platesolving the plate solving software could not resolve the current picture.I was checking in the equipment profile manager with which filter platesolving will be done... and there it was again..
I made a failure with my initial settings..i have forgotten to change the recording time for platesolving pictures and to change the filter wheel to a position without an H-alpha filter, because the recorded image was to dark for platesolving...I changed the settings and tried out my old sequence.... and again SGP loaded from somewhere the old settings of the equipment manager...
i have created a new sequence and with this new sequence the stuff was working and platesolving was working because the filter wheel was moving!
All the sequence steps i have created automatically by the mosaic function...
Another bug - reproducible only in the beta
Using the fetch button in the mosaic menu I was getting crashes...it was always some seconds after i have pressed the fetch button / should get the results - sometimes i have pressed the button more than once - and maybe there were some asynchron stuff working in the background were the fetched image file could not be handled correctly....maybe something like an deadlock... moreover some images could not be loaded...and if i had clicked on the preview SGP was crashing again.
